Manchester Evening News is reporting that Manchester United aren’t making signing a new goalkeeper a priority in the upcoming summer transfer window.
More Details
Apparently, their main focus right now is on bringing in a number ten (an attacking midfielder), a forward, and a midfielder.

Interestingly, they might also be in the market for another central defender. This potential move seems to stem from recent comments by their manager, Ruben Amorim, who has expressed some worries about the fitness of Leny Yoro.
Despite first-choice goalkeeper Andre Onana’s difficulties this season, prompting speculation about Manchester United needing a better replacement, key figures at the club believe he can return to his peak performance.
While names like Diogo Costa, Joan Garcia, Senne Lammens, and Bart Verbruggen have been mentioned as potential signings, United isn’t urgently looking to acquire a new goalkeeper.
Amorim is keen to reportedly recruit a new goalkeeper. However, Manchester United are only prepared to invest heavily in that position if their current first-choice keeper, Onana, departs.

There are reports suggesting United would be willing to sell Onana for around £20 million, with clubs in the Saudi Pro-League showing interest. Furthermore, United’s need for a new goalkeeper could become more pressing if Altay Bayindir decides to leave the club.
The Turkish international is reportedly considering a move to secure more playing time in preparation for the upcoming World Cup. The Red Devils need to recognize the crucial role a top-tier goalkeeper plays and should actively search for a competitor to challenge Onana for the starting position.
Although acquiring a world-renowned goalie would involve a significant financial investment, signing Lammens presents a potentially inexpensive option, estimated at approximately £6.3 million, that carries less risk.
