When Manchester United hosts Ipswich Town in the Premier League on Wednesday night, they will be looking to get back to winning ways.

More Details

With 30 points and just a goal difference ahead of West Ham United after 26 games, the Red Devils are languishing in 15th place in the EPL standings.

Manchester United have lost all three of their league games. Ruben Amorim, the manager, anticipates a better showing against Ipswich in the middle of the week.

The Portuguese tactician might have to deal with yet another injury setback before the encounter. On the road against Everton, Noussair Mazraoui sustained a knee injury in the second half. He had to be replaced after complaining of discomfort.

The Moroccan player is unlikely to play against the Tractor Boys at Old Trafford as of right now, but he will go through medical testing later today.

Let’s see how the defence might respond in that situation.

Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt were on the pitch for the entire ninety minutes against the Toffees. Prior to Mazraoui’s untimely injury, Yoro was set to take the former’s place.

Even though De Ligt and Maguire weren’t playing at their best, they are almost certain to start because Luke Shaw and Jonny Evans are also out due to injury.

Yoro is probably going to be in the back three with the two. The other seasoned player Amorim has at his disposal is Victor Lindelof, but he has hardly played.

The Swede is expected to leave Old Trafford when his contract expires at the end of June. Patrick Dorgu and Diogo Dalot are both excellent starters at left and right wing-back, respectively.
