According to reports, Borussia Dortmund forward, Marco Reus could be set for a move to England to join Manchester United after his agents were spotted in England. Reus’ agents were spotted at the Old Trafford during their 2-1 win over Manchester City.

The Borussia Dortmund star’s contract is due to expire at the end of the season, leading to uncertainty over his future with the German club.

While it’s still too early to determine if there’s anything to this, the fact that the club have only signed Weghorst on a 6 months loan deal suggest that they’re planning to bring in a much more established forward in the summer rather than rush the transfer now.

It will be interesting to see how he would fit into this United squad, if he eventually makes the jump, as he often plays as a second striker and as a 10, rather than as a central striker.

Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen have also been mentioned as possible targets for the club as long term solution for their attack. The hole left by the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo at the club needs to be filled.

Meanwhile…

Arsenal have intensified their efforts to sign Real Valladolid young defender, Ivan Fresneda and even though they want him in the summer, they’re prepared to make a deal now to jump ahead of the queue for his signature.

The 18-year-old is wanted by a host of clubs across Europe, including Newcastle. Arsenal meanwhile, have made it clear in the last few days that they are seriously interested in a potential deal.
