The Andalusian club believes that the Turkish team’s current offer of €3 million is insufficient. Additionally, their contract proposal to Bartra isn’t exactly up to par.
Bartra’s contract at the Benito Villamarin is about to expire, but he wants to extend it. Bartra has yet to accept the new contract Betis have offered him because it has a hefty income cut. He is being associated with a transfer as a result.
Last season, when Betis finished fifth in La Liga and qualified for the Europa League for the second consecutive year, Bartra was an important player of Manuel Pellegrini’s team.
Real Betis also won the Copa del Rey, the club’s first major trophy since 2005, after defeating Valencia in the final at La Cartuja in their home city of Seville.
