Inter Milan could start transfer discussions with German defender, Mathias Ginter as his time with Borussia Monchengladbach reaches an end.
More Details
The Nerazzurri are looking to Germany to reinforce their defense and are assessing the profile of Matthias Ginter, a center-back born in 1994 who as of now, is yet to renew his contract which expires in June.
With the potential departure of aging Danilo D’Ambrosio and Aleksandr Kolarov together with the indecision of Stefan De Vrij to extend his contract which runs out in 2023, Inter’s CEO, Beppe Marotta and club manager, Piero Ausilio have identified the former Borussia Dortmund defender as a quality option for next season.

Although Italian media, CalcioMercato claim that the defender has not responded to any offer from suitors, Borussia Monchengladbach have however not made a solid move to extend his contract either.
“For the moment I have not spoken to anyone out of respect for the club but at the moment I have not received any proposal to prolong.
“Let’s see what will happen in the coming months, for now I’m calm , it is clear that I cannot wait until spring to decide my future.” He told Sport1 as quoted by CalcioMercato.
While the transfer looks realistic for the Milan Club, Marotta must also be aware of the interest from top teams like Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur.
Paul Pogba, Sami Khedira, Emre Can, Andrea Pirlo, Dani Alves, Patrice Evra, Diego Godin, Hakan Calhanoglu, and goalkeeper, Andre Onana close to adding to the long list, Marotta is not new to sneaking quality players with expiring contracts through the blind spot of other top clubs in Europe, and Inter Milan will be hoping Ginter won’t be different.

Scary news arrived from Argentina as Inter Milan forward, Joaquin Correa today trained separately ahead of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier against Peru.
This is a huge concern for the Nerrazurri ahead of the weekend’s tie against Lazio. Inter before now were unwilling to release both Lautaro Martinez and Correa due to fitness issues and their return date.

According to CalcioMercato, Argentina coach, Lionel Scaloni, revealed to Tyc Sport that Correa had fitness problems after ending the match against Uruguay with bruises.
For the attacker it could as well be fatigue, but in the next few hours will undergo more in-depth tests to see if he will be able to take the field with Argentina in view of the match against Peru, and if he will be available to Inzaghi in view of the match with Lazio on Saturday.
