Martial’s Agent Rubbishes Claims Of Feud Between Frenchman And Ten Hag As Rui Vitoria Plays Down Severity Of Salah’s Injury.

Anthony Martial’s agent has refuted rumours that the Frenchman and Erik ten Hag had a falling out and that Martial was left to train alone.
More Details
Since a 3-0 home loss to Bournemouth six weeks prior, the 28-year-old has not played a single game for his team.
Ten Hag claims that Martial was unwell and missed last weekend’s 2-2 tie with Tottenham. The Dutchman allegedly wanted Martial to practice separately from the rest of the first team players, according to The Daily Mail.
Martial’s representative, Phillipe Lamboley, responded to the allegations by telling Sky Sports that “everything that is said about him is completely false.”
‘He was not excluded from the group and he has no problem with [Erik ten Hag].
‘Anthony has been in Manchester for nine seasons and if he was not a great professional then he would not have been at the club for so long.
‘He is simply going to undergo a small operation on his adductors, which he should have done for a while and which did not allow him to be 100 per cent, so he will do it now.’

Fears regarding Mohamed Salah’s injury have been downplayed by Egypt’s head coach Rui Vitoria, who saw the Liverpool attacker substituted out of Thursday’s Africa Cup of Nations match against Ghana.
Salah was feeling good going into Egypt’s second group match after he scored and provided an assist in the first match against Mozambique.
Sadly, the 31-year-old sustained an injury in the latter minutes of the first quarter and was unable to play until halftime. During his news conference following the game, Vitoria made an effort to downplay any severe worries about Salah’s injury.
