Meet Top 10 Women’s Team Coaches With Best Points Per Game This Season

FC Barcelona women’s coach, Pere Romeu has the best Points Per Game (PPG) ratio of any women’s football team coach aged 45 or younger this season.

The top 10 women’s football coaches with good PPG ratios within the age bracket of 45 and below in the top five European leagues this season were revealed.

With leagues on Christmas and New Year break, Romeu, who took over as Barcelona coach from Jonatan Giraldez, has 3.00 PPG after 13 games.

The 31-year-old gaffer, who is the youngest on the list, is guiding the Catalan side to another league title as they also intend to defend the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) title.

Chelsea FC coach Sonia Bompastor, who has won all but one of the team’s English Women’s Super League (WSL) games, is in second position.

The 45-year-old former Lyon manager has 2.80 PPG after 11 games in the WSL as league leaders going into 2025.



She is the second women coach on the list alongside Arsenal boss, Renee Slegers who is in third position with 2.67 PPG in six games.

35-year-old Slegers took over from Jonas Eideval after the Gunners stuttering start to the season.

PSG coach Fabrice Abriel is in fourth position with 2.55 PPG from 12 games, while 44-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt manager Niko Arnautis is in fifth place with 2.42 PPG.

Bayer Leverkusen’s Roberto Patzold (2.36), Wolfsburg’s Tommy Stroot (2.33), Manchester United’s Marc Skinner (2.10), Real Sociedad’s Jose Luis Sanchez Vera (1.92), and Atletico Madrid’s Victor Martin (1.92) compete the top 10 women’s football coach with high PPG under the age bracket in the top five leagues.
