Melisa Hasanbegović Joins Sporting CP from FTC

The Bosnian defender has joined the Portuguese Liga BPI women’s side, Sporting CP from Hungarian Champions, Ferencvárosi TC (FTC).

Melisa Hasanbegović, 26, started her senior career with SFK 2000 in 2012 and joined Kvarnsvedena IK five years later.

In 2018, Melisa switched to IK Grand Bodø before joining the Czech side, SK Slavia Praha in 2019, the same year she proceeded to play for Ferencvárosi TC (FTC).

At the national level, Melisa Hasanbegović has represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at U-17, U-19, and senior levels.
