More Details
The German Car Manufacturer hopes to improve the W13 ahead of the race at Miami and consolidate on the success that will be recorded subsequently.
The team’s engineers have been trying to fix things and they hope the situation changes even though perfection is not guaranteed immediately.
Trackside engineering director Andrew Shovlin said work is going on and the engineering team is doing all it can to sort things out as soon as possible.

Speaking in the team’s regular post-race weekend analysis video, Shovlin said: “We know where we are at the moment, we know that gap that we need to make up to get where we want to be, but as a team, we are very focussed on the engineering challenge that this is, and it is a very interesting engineering challenge.
“[These are] problems that are new to us, that we need to get on top of and understand and there is an enormous amount of energy back here going into that, but day by day we are moving forward, we are learning more about it and hopefully, soon, maybe as soon as Miami, we can start to bring some parts to the car that will hopefully give us an indication on whether we are moving in the right direction.
“We are not expecting to solve this overnight. But if we can get a clue that we are going in the right direction, that we really got to the bottom of what is going on, then we will be quite pleased that we are just moving on the right path.”

Ferrari To Downforce Ahead of Miami
Despite the team’s performance at the Emilia Romagana Grand Prix, Ferrari team Principal, Martial Binotto says there won’t be changes to the car for now but they will be downforce due to the highspeed of the circuit in Miami.
“Because Miami is a high-speed circuit compared to the ones we had so far, in terms of downforce, we will run something different compared to what we have.
“Hopefully the level of downforce we bring to Miami, we are quite confident it’s quite an efficient one. But we know as well that Red Bull has got a good medium/low downforce package as well, and they will be competitive.
“It will be a completely new track and new challenge, quite interesting, and I am pretty curious to be there.”
Ferrari fell in the pecking order last week after leading driver, Charles Leclerc struggled with his car to finish 6th while teammate, Carlos Sainz couldn’t finish the race after a collision with Daniel Ricciardo.
The Miami Grand Prix comes up from 6th to 8th May.
