The match didn’t start smoothly for Miami, as the Red Bulls took an early lead with Alexander Hack scoring in the 14th minute.
But Messi wasted no time in orchestrating a comeback. Just ten minutes later, he delivered a brilliant pass to his former Barcelona teammate Jordi Alba, who netted the equalizer.
Messi and Alba then linked up again for Miami’s second goal. Messi’s pinpoint pass found Alba, who crossed the ball for Telasco Segovia to tap in, putting Miami ahead in the 27th minute.

Messi then took center stage in the second half. His first goal came in the 60th minute, assisted by a masterful through ball from Sergio Busquets, which allowed Messi to outmaneuver Red Bulls goalkeeper Carlos Coronel and score.
Messi’s second goal was a result of a combination with Luis Suarez, who crossed the ball for Messi to control and powerfully strike past Coronel from close range.
