Inter Miami CF, the defending MLS Cup champions, have officially signed 25-year-old defender Micael on loan from Palmeiras.

More Details

The deal for the Brazilian center-back runs through the end of the 2026 season and gives Miami the option to make the transfer permanent.

Micael returns to MLS after a standout 2025 campaign in Brazil, where he played 28 matches—including high-profile appearances in the FIFA Club World Cup—following a record-breaking move from Houston Dynamo FC.

Prior to joining Palmeiras, Micael played 80 matches for the Houston Dynamo, a tenure highlighted by a 2023 US Open Cup victory over Inter Miami.

Micael path to the Houston first team began in MLS NEXT Pro with Dynamo 2, following a stint in Brazil’s top flight with Atlético Mineiro.
