The two clubs are said to be in discussion for the possible transfer of the 30 year old to Saudi Arabia.

Though unnamed, talks between the MiddleEast club and the Magpies are intensifying as reported by Keith Downie.

The EPL outfit are willing to cash in on the Paraguayan in order to meet up with financial obligations.

With two years left to run on his contract, and the Saudi Arabian window officially opened, Newcastle could be set to cash in on the winger.

Almiron is currently busy in the United States where himself and the rest of the Paraguayan team are competing in the Copa America.

Recalled, Al Shabab tried an assault on the player in January but he chose to remain in England.

Al Ahli have announced the arrival of Hans Gillhaus as the club’s new head of scouting.

The Dutchman joins the Pro League side and takes up a familiar role in which he previously held with European powerhouses.
