Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar could leave the club as a free agent next summer should the club not succeed in tying him to a new deal.

The club are being made to sweat over discussions with his representatives with negotiations moving at a very slow pace.

Skriniar is being tempted by a big money move to Paris Saint Germain who have been on his trail since last summer and will gladly still take him should he become available.

Reliable journalist Simone Togna has reported via @ItaFootPod that the chances of seeing the Slovakian at Inter next seaosn now stands at 50/50.

The 27 year old first joined the club in 2017 from Sampdoria and has become one of the most important members of the squad over the years.

A new meeting in a yet to be decided date is expected between both parties to try to find an agreement for continuity.

The report says that the two parties will come together on Friday to sort out final details with Inter presenting their final offer and hoping that it be accepted.

Skriniar has kept mute throughout the negotiation period but has stated in times past that his desire is to stay at the club.

That admittance however could have changed knowing well that the club last summer tried to cash in on him before a last minute intervention by the club president saw him remain.

He’s 27 and could already be thinking about making more money in a different league knowing that this could be the last chance for him to get such opportunity.
