The Bosnian has been on the transfer list ever since he returned from a loan at Besiktas, but because of his high salary, it has been particularly difficult to find suitors.
Pjanic doesn’t currently have any solid offers, but his performance during the US tour delighted Xavi Hernández and gave Miralem hope that he might be able to persuade the coach to at least let him stay until January so he can participate in some matches.
Pjanic is incredibly eager to collaborate with Xavi, one of his football heroes. The Bosnian wants to simply be another member of the team so he can observe one of the best midfielders of all time, but he is aware that he isn’t a part of the plans and won’t cause any trouble if he doesn’t play.
Another illustration of the strength of Xavi’s effect on the game and coaching philosophy. People are willing to go to some really extreme lengths in order to play for him. If Pjanic will succeed in his goal, only time will tell, but his outlook is commendable.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta announced the activation of the third “economic lever” with the sale of 24.5 percent of Barça Studios to Socios.com for 100 million euros.
La Blaugrana also confirmed the news with a short statement a few minutes after Laporta’s announcement.
Barça Studios is the club’s platform to create and distribute video and audio content, and they can sell up to 49% as approved by club members back in June. Barça have only sold 24.5% today, meaning they can still deal a further 24.5% in the future if needed.
