Minnesota United’s Kelvin Yeboah scored from the penalty spot three minutes prior to the goal. It was Garcé’s first goal as a professional in six seasons, including time spent in Colombia and Major League Soccer.
LA Galaxy’s first goal came after Minnesota United players failed to clear a corner kick.
LA Galaxy’s Miguel Berry threw the ball back into the penalty area, where Garcés found it and put it past Minnesota goalie Alec Smir into the net.

Following three straight losses, the defending champions picked up their second draw/point this season thanks to a goal from Christian Ramirez of Galaxy in the 26th minute against his old team.
Next Saturday, LA Galaxy will play Orlando City, South Carolina, at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson.
