In a fan poll for Major League Soccer’s Matchday 31, St. Louis CITY SC’s Eduard Löwen won the AT&T Goal of the Matchday award, receiving 55.2% of the votes.

The German midfielder earned the honor for his remarkable half-volley goal into the top corner during St. Louis’s 3-2 loss to Houston Dynamo FC.



Second place went to Sporting Kansas City’s Dániel Sallói, who scored a powerful goal against the Colorado Rapids.

He dribbled past two defenders before shooting the ball inside the far post.

Coming in third, LAFC’s Denis Bouanga scored an opening goal in his team’s 2-1 loss to San Diego FC.

He received a long pass from David Martínez and skillfully chipped the ball over the opposing goalkeeper, CJ dos Santos.

From a tricky fake with his left foot, Gabriel Pirani scored the first of his two goals, a powerful shot from the top of the 18-yard box, helping D.C. United secure a 2-1 victory over New York City FC.
