FC Cincinnati advances to the Eastern Conference Semifinals, where they will play the victor of the game between the No. 4 Philadelphia Union and the No. 5 New England Revolution. The meeting is single-elimination.

In Game 2 of the Round One Best-of-3 series, which takes place on Wednesday, the Union—ahead 1-0 in the series—will take on the Revolution. Season ticket holders and Orange & Blue Reserve Members can purchase tickets for the Eastern Conference Semifinal, which is scheduled to take place at TQL Stadium on November 25 or 26.

For the second year in a row, the Orange and Blue defeated the Red Bulls in Round One. With the new 2023 Best-of-3 format for the first round, FCC defeated the Red Bulls 3-0 in Game 1 last Sunday at TQL Stadium, and Saturday’s penalty kick shootout triumph sealed the series win.

When regulation time ended with a 1-1 draw, the game would move on to penalties. In the ninth round of penalties, both teams missed after six straight converted spot kicks. After Junior Moreno’s conversion in the tenth round, Roman Celentano’s save against Andres Reyes sealed the victory for the Orange and Blue.
