Mexican side, Monterrey has completed the acquisitions of Mexican international goalkeeper Pamela Tajonar.

The 38-year-old goalkeeper began her career at Alianza de Querétaro and, after a brief stint at Puebla, she emigrated to Europe in 2010, where she debuted in the First Division with Atlético Málaga Femenil.

In Europe, she played for different Spanish clubs, such as Levante, Sevilla, Logroño, Villarreal, and FC Barcelona.

With the Blaugrana club, she won the League and Super Cup titles and reached a Women’s Champions League Final.

In 2022, Pamela joined Celtic of Scotland, a club for which she played 58 games in the Scottish Women’s Premier League.

Tajonar is also an important part of the Mexican Women’s National Team, with which she played in the U-19 Women’s World Cup, the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, and the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

Pamela signed a one-year contract with the Monterrey team.

Monterrey has also completed the acquisition of South African forward, Jermaine Seoposenwe, who as of Wednesday becomes a new player of the albiazul team for the 2023 Opening Tournament.

Jermaine, 29, started her soccer career at Santos Ladies FC, in South Africa, and continued her career at UWC Ladies, in South Africa; Gintra Universitetas, from Lithuania; Real Betis, from Spain; and Sporting Club Braga, from Portugal, where she was League and Cup champion.

In 2022 she migrated to FC Juárez of the Liga BBVA MX Femenil.  With the border team, Seoposenwe scored the fastest goal in the history of the BBVA MX Women’s League, scoring after 8 seconds in the FC Juárez vs.  Women’s Necaxa of matchday 14 of the 2022 Opening Tournament.

With the South African Women’s National Team, Jermaine won the 2022 African Cup of Nations championship, in addition to having participated in the 2012 London and Rio 2016 Olympic Games, and in the 2019 France Women’s World Cup.

Jermaine signed a two-year contract with the Monterrey team.
