Beyond the interest from Los Blancos, Alphonso Davies contract at Bayern Munich expires in the summer of 2025 and Real Madrid are looking to take advantage of the Canadian’s desire to leave and take up a new challenge in Spain.
Real Madrid are more confident than ever that Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies will join the club next summer, according to reports and as per recent reports from multiple Spanish outlets, Los Blancos are calm on the situation that they can bring forward a move for Davies to 2024, with his current Bayern deal expiring in two years time.
The Bayern Munich left-back, who has been heavily linked with Real Madrid for several months, has started all nine league matches for the Bundesliga champions so far and chalked up three assists from defence during that period.
Having negotiated with Davies and his agent Nedal Househ, Los Blancos are now very confident the club will sign Davies at the end of the season, according to Spanish outlet Relevo.
If Davies does not accept an extension in Bavaria, the Bundesliga champions will look to sell the Canadian international, to avoid losing him on a free transfer at the end of his contract.
With Bayern now ready to move to the next stage of a sale, reports from Diario AS claim they have set a €50m asking price for Davies, if Real Madrid want a deal next summer.
