More Options Emerge For Leonardo Bonucci As Benjamin Pavard Further Fuels His Potential Move To Inter

Since the start of this summer transfer window, Italian side, Juventus have always made it clear to their Italian defender, Leonardo Bonucci that he’s not part of their plans and so, should be looking for a new club to continue his playing career.

Having recently qualified for the UCL, the German club are in need of experienced players and want to add Bonucci to their squad after picking up Robin Gosens from Inter Milan. Another club has now joined the race and they seem to be more serious than the previously mentioned clubs.
According to recent reports from Italy, Genoa have opened talks with Bonucci as they look to beat Lazio to his signature, wanting to further strengthen Alberto Gilardino’s squad after gaining promotion to the Serie A last season.
Lazio haven’t made a move yet as their manager, Maurizio Sarri still hasn’t signed off on the deal, not fully convinced about the arrival of the 36-year-old. Last season, Bonucci saw 1517 minutes of action across 26 total appearances for Juventus, missing a number of games through a muscle injury.

While Inter Milan Inter continue to wait for the signing of Benjamin Pavard to be approved by Bayern Munich, the player continues to push for yhe move and has dropped a small hint on social media. The Nerazzurri have already reached an agreement in principle with both Bayern and the French right back, willing to pay around €32m but no deal has been completed yet.

The German champions will only allow the Frenchman to leave after they have found replacement, but there’s a limit to the patience that they can display before moving on to other targets. Pavard continues to do his part to make the move happen and after missing a couple of training sessions, he has further hinted at his move to Inter by liking their announcement of Alexis Sanchez’s return on Instagram.

Pavard was left on the bench for Bayern Munich’s season opener against Werder Bremer and seems unlikely to feature in their clash with Augsburg tomorrow. A deadline of Monday was reportedly given, at which point, they will pursue other targets with Torino defender Perr Schuurs said to be the alternative.
