More Details
The squad continues to be plagued by injuries; captain Bruno Fernandes is unavailable, and defenders Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire are still out of action. While Kobbie Mainoo is nearing a return, this fixture comes too soon for him.

The main selection uncertainty involves Mason Mount. The midfielder is currently being evaluated after picking up a knock during the first half of the recent match against Newcastle. In light of these availability issues, Bettitude has revealed their preferred lineups for the match against the team currently at the bottom of the table.
With limited alternatives, sticking to the current lineup is the logical choice. The defensive unit was solid, and Lisandro Martinez’s comeback provided a massive boost, so there is no reason to change the personnel or the system.
Following Manuel Ugarte’s strong performance on Boxing Day, he has earned a spot in the starting lineup. With Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes still unavailable, Casemiro should retain his place in the midfield.
The primary uncertainty lies with Mason Mount; he should start if he is fit, but if not, Jack Fletcher is a compelling alternative. Fletcher looked comfortable as he adjusted to the pace against Newcastle, and this upcoming fixture should be a less demanding environment for him.

Even if Mason Mount is fit enough to make the starting lineup against Wolverhampton Wanderers, there is a strong argument for keeping him on the bench. Given his recurring fitness issues, Ruben Amorim must manage the midfielder’s workload with extreme caution to avoid another setback.
Deciding on a replacement, however, presents a significant challenge. While there is a growing interest in seeing young Jack Fletcher handed his full senior debut, Joshua Zirkzee might be the more practical choice to spearhead Amorim’s 4-2-3-1 formation.
Bettitude’s Predicted Lineup (4-2-3-1): Lammens, Dalot, Heaven, Martinez, Shaw, Ugarte, Casemiro, Mount, Dorgu, Sesko, Cunha
