Due to a minor muscle injury, Nacho was unable to play the previous match against Espanyol.
Although Nacho won’t be counted on to start, having him back provides coach Carlo Ancelotti extra defensive depth, which may be crucial moving forward, especially given how hectic the schedule will become over the coming weeks.
Alvaro Odriozola and Jesus Vallejo continue to train apart from the group, and the club would certainly want to establish a new team for them, which is highly improbable right now.
In recent weeks, Odriozola seemed to be a target for certain Premier League clubs, but it appears that those clubs have lost interest, so he may be forced to remain in Madrid and serve as the team’s third right-back.

According to multiple reports from San Sebastian-based Noticias de Gipuzkoa, Alvaro Odriozola has a late-market possibility to return to Real Sociedad.
Roberto Olabe, the sporting director for Real Sociedad, was seen leaving for Madrid this morning. However, the Basque club does not completely rule out the possibility of a permanent transfer or an option to purchase.
It is looking to negotiate a loan offer. Odriozola allegedly has no objections to going back to San Sebastian and would adore donning the La Real blue and white once more.
