Napoli Thinking About A Double Swoop For Garnacho And One Other EPL Winger
Written By Onyeka Daniel
According to several sources, including the famous Fabrizio Romano, it is only a matter of time before French club, Paris Saint-Germain secure the signing of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia after a new round of talks between the Ligue 1 giants and Napoli.
More Details
According to the reports, the two clubs held face-to-face negotiations yesterday and took substantial steps forward in the deal. Kvara has already agreed on personal terms with PSG, but Napoli are yet to give their green light. The Italian transfer expert confirmed that Napoli and PSG will shake hands for a fee below €80m.

Napoli failed to reach an agreement to extend Kvaratskhelia’s contract beyond 2027, and the Georgian asked to leave the club this month after Antonio Conte blocked his exit last summer. PSG were already in talks for Kvara in July but were unable to finalise negotiations.
This was mainly because of Conte’s stance. Kvaratskhelia has five goals and three assists in 19 appearances across all competitions this season. For the current Serie A leaders, they’re now looking at replacement and could even bring in two wingers this January.
According to a report from Sky Sport Italia’s Napoli expert Massimo Ugolini, the Naples club are still far from reaching an agreement for Alejandro Garnacho, while Federico Chiesa could be a ‘last-minute’ solution to replace Kvaratskhelia.
It was recently reported that the Partenopei had made an opening bid for the Manchester United winger. Sky Sport Italia provided more updates later on, confirming that the Red Devils’ asking price for the Argentinean talent exceeds €60m.
“Manchester United are unwilling to sell Garnacho, unless Napoli pay €60-70m, a fee the Partenopei won’t match,” Napoli expert Massimo Ugolini said live on Monday evening.“Napoli could consider a loan deal with an option to buy.
But negotiations are not at an advanced stage. A last-minute deal for Chiesa could be a solution, but it’s not certain.” Footmercato reported earlier this month that the Partenopei were close to reaching an agreement to sign Chiesa on a six-month deal from Liverpool.
Chiesa scored his first Liverpool goal on Saturday, but Arne Slot suggested that the Italian won’t necessarily be given more playing time in the second part of the campaign and depending on how they proc, there’s a huge chance that they can secure the signing of the two EPL wingers.

This would make absolute sense on the long run because they will be getting Chiesa on loan and will have the chance to assess him. They will be needing more signings in the summer regardless, especially if they manage to secure a top four finish this season.
