While Aurelio De Laurentiis will make €230m available for the summer transfer window. Napoli are in advanced talks with Conte to become their new head coach. De Laurentiis said earlier this week that the next ten days would be decisive.

But multiple reports claim the Italian tactician already has an agreement in principle over an €8m-a-year deal until 2027. The latest report from Il Mattino claims Napoli will invest €60m gross in three years to help improve the squad.

Conte has reportedly demanded a clause that will allow him to leave the club at the end of every season, but ADL would prefer to keep the clause in his favour and have the power to activate it each summer, to avoid a similar situation to the one that he had with Luciano Spalletti.

According to the report, Conte has been promised a €230m transfer budget, which probably includes the €130m Napoli plan to get from Victor Osimhen’s sale. Conte’s staff will include Christian Stellini, the coach’s brother Gianluca and former Italian striker Elvis Abbruscato who played under Conte at Arezzo.

Conte, a former Juventus and Inter coach, could also help De Laurentiis develop the club’s training facilities, which are far from the highest quality standards in Europe. But his appointment could also mean the exit of one important player in the team.

PSG have made a formal offer to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia but according to Gazzetta it’s not even close to Napoli‘s asking price while the Partenopei continue negotiations for a contract extension.Kvara’s agent, Mamuka Jugeli, has confirmed an offer from PSG for his client.

However, while Gazzetta reported on Tuesday that the opening bid was close to €80m, a new report claims the proposal was even lower, at around €60m. In any case, according to the report, ADL didn’t even consider PSG’s offer as the Napoli owner will only sell Kvara for twice as much.

De Laurentiis believes Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen have a similar transfer value so considering Osimhen’s €130m clause, his teammate won’t leave unless suitors pay almost the same fee.

From the player agent’s perspective, ADL’s vision should also be reflected in a new contract. He currently earns €1.5 per season and has reportedly demanded a new €5m-a-year salary plus add-ons, while Napoli’s offer is €4.5m per season, including bonuses.
