Nathalie Björn Set To Join Chelsea – Report

Sweden international, Nathalie Björn is set to join Chelsea from another English Women’s Super League (WSL) team, Everton per Sports Broadcaster, Ben Jacobs.

The deal was facilitated by Neverland Management and both player and agent Megan Brakes are due in London this weekend to finalise the deal.
The transfer fee is reportedly well over £100,000 and the contract is until summer 2027.
Nathalie Björn was one of three Sweden internationals recruited by Everton in the summer of 2021.
She is an experienced defender who has years of her career still ahead, Björn made her first club move away from her homeland when she joined the Blues from Rosengård in July of that year and quickly settled into life in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League.
Considered one of the best defenders in Europe, Björn has competed at the highest level, having played in the UEFA Women’s Champions League during her domestic spell in Sweden.
Internationally the Everton number five has represented Sweden at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup where she helped the side to a third-placed finish, and secured a silver medal in the delayed Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The deal which will see Fox join the Gunners is getting close and the signing of the player is expected to be announced very soon.
Arsenal FC Women still want Mary Earps in 2024 as well.
Relatively, Arsenal Women’s American goalkeeper Kaylan Marckese has returned to the club from her loan spell at Bristol City due to injury. Marckese signed for the Gunners from FC Koge in the summer of 2022 and was loaned out to Bristol City for this season.
