Transfers: Newcastle target Immobile

La Gazzetta Cello Sport reports that Newcastle United are willing to bring Lazio striker, Ciro Immobile to England.

It is reported that with the backing of their potential Arab owners – presently awaiting approval from the Premier League – they could make an offer of €55m to Lazio and a five-year deal to Immobile worth €8m net per season.

Lazio are expected to respond by offering their star striker a new contract with improved terms.

Transfers: Bayern Munich join Hakimi race

Bayern Munich are expected to make a move for Real Madrid’s Moroccan full back Achraf Hakimi, currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund.

The full back who is expected to return to Madrid this summer after a two-year spell on loan in Germany is a subject of interest for many clubs including Manchester City, PSG and Inter.

However, according to Diario AS, Bayern Munich are prepared to offer the player a huge salary in order to convince him, knowing that he won’t be willing to play back-up at Real Madrid.

Transfers: Barcelona show Maximiano interest

Barcelona are said to be interested in Sporting’s Portuguese goalkeeper, Luis Maximiano.

The 21-year old whose contract runs out in 2023 has also attracted interest from AC Milan. He could be available for €16m according to Diario AS. Barcelona see him as a long term replacement for current goalkeeper, Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

Transfers: Done deal for Meunier to join Dortmund

Thomas Meunier will join Borussia Dortmund when his contract with Paris Saint Germain expires this summer.

The German club had been following the Belgian for a while as he was seen as a potential replacement for departing full back, Achraf Hakimi.

Nico Schira of Gazzetta Dello Sport now reports that a deal is done between the player and the German club and Meunier is expected to sign a four-year contract soon.
