Nicole Billa Joins FC Koln

The FC Koln women’s football team has signed top striker Nicole Billa for the new season.

The 28-year-old Austrian international was the top scorer in the 2020/2021 Women’s Bundesliga and is moving from TSG Hoffenheim to Cologne on a free transfer next summer.
She has signed a contract with the FC Frauen until June 30, 2026.
Footballer of the Year 2019 and 2021 in Austria, Footballer of the Year 2021 in Germany, top scorer in the ÖFB Women’s Bundesliga 2013/2014, top scorer in the Women’s Bundesliga 2020/2021 with 23 goals, ÖFB Cup winner in 2014, semi-finalist in the 2017 European Championship with Austria – striker Nicole Billa’s successes are impressive.
She played 97 games for the Austrian national team and scored 46 goals. From the new season, Billa will now storm for the FC women.

Nicole Billa says: “I am now in my ninth season at Hoffenheim and was keen to do something new. I’m really looking forward to hunting for goals for 1. FC Köln starting in the summer. The club has great potential and I would like to help develop it further in the coming years. The highlight game with 30,123 fans last Sunday shows what great football euphoria there is in Cologne.”
Nicole Billa was born on March 5, 1996, in Kufstein, Austria.
From her hometown club SV Angerberg, the striker went via FC Wacker Innsbruck and FSK St. Pölten to TSG Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.
