Nike Signs Thompson Sisters To First High School NIL Deal

Nike’s strategic investment in women’s soccer in the United States (U.S) continued this week, with the announcement of their first high school NIL partnership.

The Thompson sisters, Alyssa and Gisele, have signed with the brand, as announced Tuesday.
They follow UCLA sophomore Reilyn Turner, who became Nike’s first collegiate NIL athlete last December.
The Harvard-Westlake soccer stars, both committed to Stanford, are also major players at the United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) youth level.

Alyssa, 17, started for the USWNT U-20 team that won the CONCACAF Championship in the Dominican Republic earlier this year.
Gisele, 16, started for the USWNT U-17 team that also recently won the U-17 CONCACAF Championship.
Both players are expected to make the trip to the U-20 and U-17 World Cups.

The sisters worked with their agent at A&V Sports to make sure they weren’t compromising their NCAA eligibility with the deal.

They also communicated with Stanford to make sure they were still college eligible, and will not wear their high school uniforms or gear in promotional material to maintain their high school eligibility at Harvard-Westlake School.
