It has definitely been a busy summer transfer window for Italian giants, AC Milan as they’ve officially announced the signing of former RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku on a permanent deal from Premier League side Chelsea, which could end up costing them €43m.

It will definitely make them the highest spending club in the league, overtaking Como and according to several reliable sources, the agreement was for a fixed fee of €37-€38m, with performance-related bonuses linked to personal and collective achievements at an additional €4m-€5m.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Frenchman agreed to take a pay cut in order to join Milan, and that he will earn less than €5m per season on his Rossoneri contract. Nkunku flew in for his medical on Friday morning and completed those formalities by midday.

In a related development, Luka Modric provided his first Serie A assist in the Milan jersey and revealed what Allegri asked him to pass on to his teammates. I played many games against Italian teams, I know how organised they are tactically in every phase. I do still need to get used to it, as this is a very difficult league. We need to be on our toes in every match and give everything we’ve got to win. So far, I am really enjoying what I’ve seen.” He further added.
