Al Hilal are sweating over the renewal of Ruben Neves who has remained coy on his intentions.



The 28 year old is playing on the final months of the three year deal he signed on arrival from Wolves three seasons ago. 

With runours circulating about a move back to the Premier League, the Saudi Pro League club are working to understand his intentions.

Manchester United have been mentioned as serious suitors for the Portuguese international who has refused to extend his contract.

He has become one of Al Hilal’s most important players since the arrival of Simone Inzaghi and it was what made the club present him with a new offer.

However, the player has continued to suspend contract renewal talks as he evaluates his future ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Despite the runours of a Premier League return, Al Hilal are confident of keeping him at the club until the end of his contact and possibly convince him to a signing a new deal.

According to @H_swilhy, Neves has neither rejected nor accepted Al Hilal’s proposal with the club still waiting for his response.

However, the report states that the club will not decide to sell him off on the January transfer window should he decide against renewing his expiring agreement.
