Spurs came into the game on the back of two successive defeats at the hands of Crystal Palace and Chelsea respectively.
The 2020 UCL finalists have now conceded three goals in each of their blast three outings in the league.
Speaking after the game the Portuguese tactician was obviously raged while commenting on the outcome. He did admit in his speech that he selected the wrong players without saying which in particular while refusing to castigate his own players in front of the press.
“I’m going to be honest,” the Spurs boss added. “When you have a game plan you have to make the right decisions in terms of who you want on the pitch to develop that game plan.
“The decisions were not according to the game plan and I take responsibility. I won’t name individuals, but the game plan was not right according to the players who were on the pitch.
“We were not aggressive enough to control Arsenal in midfield. They were faster, stronger, more aggressive. We suffered when we wanted to go in front, and we allowed Arsenal to come to us. Bad decisions.
“It’s not easy to expand so I just ask you a bit of respect if I don’t go too much into it. But the game plan didn’t work out. I will not judge my players in front of you, I refuse to do that.” The coach said as per SkySports.
Meanwhile…
Spurs captain Hugo Lloris could not hide his frustrations either with the goalkeeper now letting nine goals past him in the last three whereas he had kept clean skates in the first three.
Playing in his 19th derby the French goalkeeper could do little or nothing to stop the influx of Arsenal attacks which produced three well taken goals in the evening.
The 34 year old launched a tirade on his team’s poor outings in the last few weeks admitting that the problems can’t be denied.

“We lost complete control in the first half,” the goalkeeper said. “We got smashed and then had a good reaction.
“It’s frustrating and very disappointing. It’s the moment to stick together and carry on. The players were ready, but we lost a bit of control. We lost the balance in the middle of the pitch.
“When you concede three goals in each of the last three league games you cannot hide the problems. But we are professional. There is a long way to go. We need to stay calm.”
Spurs are now 11th on the log after having set the pace from the beginning and are one place behind Arsenal bruh with same number of points and goals aggregate.
