The Moroccan international has made the decision to continue his career at Camp Nou. He’s turned down all of the other offers he’d received.
Barça and Mazraoui’s camp must now finalize the terms of the deal, which will see Mazraoui sign a three- or four-year contract with the club.
Because Mazraoui’s contract expires in the summer, he will be able to join for free. Xavi Hernandez wants to reinforce his right-back position, as the club waits to see what happens with Cesar Azpilicueta of Chelsea, who can play throughout the backline.
Barça had previously prioritized Azpilicueta, but after learning of a clause that allows Chelsea to renew the Spain international’s contract, they began to focus on Mazraoui.
Negotiations with Mazraoui’s agent, Mino Raiola, went well, and a verbal offer was made. Because the player was also in talks with Milan, Arsenal, Dortmund, and Leeds, Barça waited to hear back.
However, he has chosen Barça because he believes it will provide him with the best opportunity to develop as a player and win titles. Xavi’s presence and Barça’s attacking prowess have undeniably tilted the scales in their favor.

Barcelona are reportedly eyeing Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.
Barca have long prioritized Haaland as a target this summer but appear to be coming to grips with the fact that Manchester City seem to be the clear frontrunners for the Norwegian’s signature.
That leaves Barca in the situation where they need to target a new forward instead. That leads us to today’s rumor that Salah is now a target for the club. This is probably utter rubbish.
