“I haven’t been on a team with almost every player, if not every single player, is such a good human being,” Krieger said at media day on Thursday.
Gotham went from last place in 2022 to being one of the two teams left in 2023, with a new coaching staff leading them to the Championship game.
"The addition of Juan (Carlos Amorós), he's been incredible for this team, for this organization. He's been a true leader," Kelley O'Hara said of the 2023 Coach of the Year.
"We have a lot of inherent winners, like people who are just addicted to winning," added Midge Purce.

The longtime United States Women's National Team (USWNT) teammates will go head-to-head for a chance to walk away from the game with one final win.
Rapinoe and Krieger are intrinsic parts of Seattle and Gotham's respective game plans.
Rapinoe played all 90 minutes against San Diego on Sunday, while Krieger went the distance for 120 minutes against Portland.
"I feel like it seems a bit poetic that the championship game is ending with Krieger and Pinoe's last game," Seattle midfielder Rose Lavelle said on Sunday.
