The Orlando Pride, Gotham FC, and the Washington Spirit have all expressed interest in top free agent Crystal Dunn, CBS reported.

More Details

The Pride offered Dunn a big contract but are no longer in talks to sign the three-time National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) champion, the team confirmed to The Athletic.

Gotham’s bid for Dunn’s services has been a long time coming, with The Equalizer reporting that there’s “mutual interest.”

The women’s tournament will award a $1 million prize to the winning team in an effort to ensure equal pay.

The women's side of the bracket will contain just eight teams, giving each participating team-high odds of hoisting the trophy at the end.

“I’m a competitor and I like our chances,” O’Reilly told ESPN.

“I’m definitely going to be calling a lot of the household names that everybody can imagine that just retired, like Ali Krieger, Julie Ertz, Carli Lloyd."
