Portland, Kansas City, Angel City, Houston, Orlando, Washington, and Gotham FC all have traded for full expansion draft protection.
San Diego, North Carolina, and Louisville all have protection from one team, though they still could have two players selected in the draft.

In a flurry of activity on Tuesday, trades were announced sending draft picks, players, and allocation money across the country.
Utah received Kate Del Fava (Kansas City Current), Cameron Tucker (Houston Dash), Hannah Betfort (Portland Thorns), Mandy Haught (Gotham FC), Carly Nelson (OL.Reign), as well as other assets.
Bay FC received Emily Menges (Portland Thorn), Joelle Anderson (Houston Dash), Scarlett Camberos (LA), Ellie Jean (Gotham FC), and Dorian Bailey (Washington Spirit), plus other assets.

Former Kansas City Current head coach Matt Potter has been named the club's new technical director, supporting general manager Lucy Rushton and head coach Albertin Montoya.
Potter led Kansas City to an unlikely NWSL Championship game appearance in 2022 before being dismissed for results early in 2023.
Three NWSL teams are still without head coaches: Washington, Houston and Chicago.
