More Details
Alessandro Bastoni has officially signed a new five year contract at Inter which will keep him at the club until 2028.
“FC Internazionale Milano can announce that it has reached an agreement with Alessandro Bastoni to prolong his stay at the Club. The 24-year-old defender has extended his contract until 2028.” Reada the club statement.
The 24 year old has grown significantly from when he was signed from Atalanta in 2017 to becoming one of the best players in his position.
Bastoni spent the first two years after initially signing for the Nerazzurri on loan at Atalanta and Parma respectively before he was recalled to the club by Antonio Conte.
He was instrumental in Inter’s 2020/2021 Scudetto triumph and openly rejected a move to Tottenham last summer despite the club reaching an agreement with the English side.
Bastoni since joining the Nerazzurri has made 164 appearances and gone on to win five trophies with the club.
His new deal is reported to be worth €5m annually plus bonuses and will run until 2028.
Meanwhile…
Inter and Manchester United are to meet again over the potential transfer of Andre Onana.
The Nerazzurri rejected the English club’s first official offer for their highly rated goaltender a few days ago.
