The 23 year old has signed a contract until the summer of 2028 and has chosen the number five jersey.

“The club is delighted to announce the signing of Evan Ndicka, with the 23-year-old penning a deal until 2028.” Reads the statement on the club’s website.

The former French youth team player gave his first words as a Giallorosso where he expressed his desire to help the club achieve her goals.

“The way that the project was explained to me along with this club’s history and prestige made me want to come to Rome, which is a fantastic city that loves and lives for football. I can’t wait to take to the Olimpico pitch in front of my new supporters and make my contribution towards achieving our objectives.”

Club director Tiago Pinto added: “Despite his young age, Evan is already a mature player with a wealth of experience from one of the most prestigious leagues and he also played a key role in his previous club’s European success. He was a particularly sought-after player on the international stage, so we’re thrilled that he has chosen Roma.”

N’Dicka recently opted to play for Ivory Coast having represented France at youth levels but is yet to lace his boots for the African nation.

Despite multiple reports claiming that Nicolo Zaniolo is dreaming of a return to Italy, the Galatasaray forward has come out to say he is happy at his club.

Zaniolo left Roma in January to join the newly crowned Turkish champions where he contributed with five goals in eleven appearances.

Fiorentina and Juventus in the past week have shown interest in the player as per multiple reports.

He has however come out to reveal he is happy at his present club but left everything open by admitting football is unpredictable.

“I’m happy in Turkey, let’s see what happens in the market. You can never say anything, what happens we will see. He told Calciomercato.

The 23 year old was in action for the Azzurri in their Nations League matches as they claimed a third place victory over Netherlands following the loss to Spain in the semi finals.
