With further stints at Leeds United and Scunthorpe, the 26-year-old has 4 goals and 20 assists in 124 career games. Pearce has never moved overseas before.
“We’re delighted to add Tom to our squad,” Montréal president and CEO Gabriel Gervais said in a release.
“He brings us depth at the left-back position, and his versatility also allows him to play on the left side of a back three. He has strong physical abilities as well as technical qualities in possession that will enable him to fit in well with our team’s style of play. Tom is motivated to join the club and help us achieve our objectives.”

Alongside starting left wingback Raheem Edwards, Pearce provides Montréal with depth. Lassi Lappalainen and Ruan have both played right wingback recently.
Under first-year head coach Laurent Courtois, that is all. As the All-Star break draws near, the team is now 11th in the Eastern Conference (23 points; 5W-9L-8D).
