Al Ahli have announced the appointment of Fabrice Bocquet as the new CEO of the club beginning with immediate effect.



“Al Ahli Club Company has announced the appointment of Fabrice Bocquet as Chief Executive Officer, as part of its direction to strengthen the club’s organizational structure and support its long-term transformation and sustainable development journey.” The club wrote on their official website.

The 43 year old brings his expertise from working with French club OGC Nice to the reigning Asian champions.

Having parted ways with OGC Nice in December, Bocquet has now landed a new role with the Jeddah based club.

“It is an honor to join Al Ahli, a historic club with a strong identity and deep-rooted legacy. Al Ahli is not only a football club, but a key pillar of its community and a source of pride for its supporters.”

“Through my previous work in Saudi football, I have developed a deep respect for the Kingdom’s culture and ambitions. My priority at this stage is to listen, to understand, and to contribute with humbleness and commitment to supporting the club’s long-term development, with full respect for its values and the history of the city of Jeddah.” He said at his presentation.

The appointment is in line with Al Ahli’s wholesome transformative initiative for the present and future, aimed at developing the sporting, financial and commercial sectors.

The club is committed to hiring proven experts, capable of working to meet the demands of the fans and the targets of the club.
