The Polish Ekstraklasa side announced via their official social media site, the arrival of the fleet footed winger.
“From the beginning, we knew that in this window Lawrence Ennali would most likely leave us, which is why we had candidates prepared for his position. We started negotiations on the Tao transfer in June.” commented Łukasz Milik, sports director of Górnik Zabrze.
“Despite some better offers, he chose Górnik because he knows it’s a good club to grow. Taofeek is a very dynamic winger with good dribbling and playing on the same level with both legs. I am very happy that such a quality player strengthens our offensive.” Concluded the director.
The 24 year old leaves Lorient on a permanent basis and has signed a three year deal with the Polish top division side.
“Taofeek, welcome to Roosevelt!” The club wrote alongside a video introducing the new winger.
