The Al Hilal and Saudi Arabian winger won the award over Qatar’s Akram Afif at the awards ceremony on Thursday evening.
In 42 matches across January hitherto, Al Dawsari scored 21 goals and contributed 16 assists for club and country for a total of 37 goal contributions.
Al Dawsari joins an elite list of two time winners that includes Akram Hafif, Hidetoshi Nakata and the likes.
The captain of the national team of Saudi Arabia and Al Hilal hopes to build on this achievement in the coming seasons.
