The 27 year old defender was almost certain to depart the San Siro in the early days of the transfer window but as days pass by, there’s increasing hope that Inter could eventually keep their wall.

Simone Inzaghi has recently started that the 27 year old is unsellable alongside Denzel Dumfries both of whom have been identified by Inter as possible options for making capital gains.

Inter fans can however rejoice as there’s been no bid nor talks between the two clubs since the last one a month ago.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Biasin who is a reliable source for Inter news explained that Skriniar is safe from the market as of today and would most likely remain behind the summer should circumstances remain unchanged for the next thirteen days.

Inter Milan have been trying to make sales from fringe players to avoid losing their big stars. The Beneamata have successfully sold Andrea Pinamonti to Sassuolo and Cesare Casadei to Chelsea for €20m and €15m respectively with the Casadei deal attracting €5m in add ons.

However, they’re still a few millions from reaching the required €60m capital gain that has until the end of June 2023 to be achieved.

Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio have both been working miraculously to get deals done in favour of the club so as to avoid losing core members of coach Simone Inzaghi’s set up.

Meanwhile…

Torino have officially completed the signing of Dutch centre back Perr Schuurs from Ajax Amsterdam for €12m.

The 22 year old made thirty appearances in all competitions last season and has now completed his move to Torino FC to continue his development.

He has put pen to paper on a four year deal with the option of another year while Ajax retain a 15% clause on future sales.

Schuur comes as a direct replacement for Gleison Bremer who left for Juventus a couple of weeks ago.
