More Details

Following earlier reports of interest from Belgian Pro League teams Anderlecht and R.W.D. Molenbeek, Blackburn is the latest team attempting to wrest McGuire away from Exploria Stadium in light of Bogert’s tweet indicating that “Orlando have no interest in entertaining loan offers.”

Whether Blackburn Rovers make a permanent offer for Duncan McGuire is still to be seen. As of right now, Jon Dahl Tomasson’s team is ranked fourteenth in the EFL Championship. Sam Gallagher, Harry Leonard, Semir Telalović, and Niall Ennis are the current center forward options for the Ewood Park team.

For midfielder Wil Trapp, Blackburn Rovers made a $1.25 million offer to Columbus Crew back in August of 2018. Gregg Berhalter did, however, imply that the deal never took place and that Rovers’ offer fell short of the club’s valuation.

Even if it was a while ago, Major League Soccer has served as the Lancashire team’s scouting ground. Regarding Orlando City SC, English teams have always been interested in City strikers.

Daryl Dike was recruited by Barnsley in February 2021 after being loaned out by the Lions. In January 2022, the USMNT forward made a permanent move to West Bromwich Albion.
