Orlando Pride moved to the summit of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) after a comprehensive 6-0 thrashing of Utah Royals on Saturday.

The bottom side, Royals conceded six goals including four in the second period with Brazilian legend Marta and Zambian superstar Barbara Banda doing the honours with two goals each.
Kerry Abello set up Banda for the opener in the 27th minute while Summer Yates doubled the lead in the additional minutes of the first half.
Marta increased the lead to three just two minutes into the second half.
Banda scored her second goal of the match in the 86th minute as the visitors lost guard in the last ten minutes of the match.
Two minutes later, Marta made it five while Ally Watts completed the rout with the sixth goal in the additional minutes of the second half.
The Pride occupy the top position on the log with 32 points after 14 games, three points ahead of Kansas City Current which will face Portland Thorns on Sunday.
Utah Royals maintained their basement position in 14th with seven points so far after 14 games.
