Owen Wolff: Austin FC Lock Down Key Midfielder Ahead Of 2026 Season
Austin FC officially announced on Monday that homegrown midfielder Owen Wolff has signed a contract extension keeping him with the club through June 2030.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Wolff will now fill one of the team’s U22 Initiative roster spots.

“I have learned and experienced so much during my time in Austin so far, both as a young player and a person,” Wolff said.
“I’m excited to commit once again to the club and to the city, and I’m confident we can achieve big things.”
Since signing as Austin FC’s inaugural homegrown talent in September 2021, the 21-year-old US youth international has tallied 10 goals and 21 assists over 137 appearances.
Wolff is coming off a stellar 2025 breakout campaign where he led the club with 19 goal contributions (7g/12a).

His consistent performance earned him the No. 4 spot on the 22 Under 22 list, marking his third consecutive year receiving the honor.
Wolff was in the starting lineup for both of Austin’s postseason games, earning his first playoff assist during the Best-of-3 series loss to LAFC.
Austin FC will kick off the 2026 season at Q2 Stadium on February 21, facing Minnesota United FC at 8:30 pm ET on Apple TV.
