Colombia women’s national team will be heading to this month’s Olympics with poster girl, Linda Caicedo.

The roster of the team was unveiled with Real Madrid star who took the world by storm at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup headlining the team.

12 foreign-based players made the roster from Germany, Brazil, Spain, the United States of America (USA), England, and Mexico.

22 players will be heading to Paris, the French capital for the Olympics with 18 players in the main squad.

The remaining four players will serve as alternates in case of injuries.

They are Lady Andrade (Real Brasilia, Brazil), Maria Camila Reyes Calderon (Independente Santa Fe), Sandra Sepulveda Lopera (Llaneros FC), and Wendy Bonilla Candelo (America De Cali).

They can only feature at the Olympics if any of the 18 players get injured.

Colombia will open their Olympic campaign against host, France on July 25 before facing New Zealand (July 28), and Canada (July 31).
