Pellegrini is having the best time of his career with seven goals and two assists in 10 games for the Giallorossi this season. Compared to his six-goal and six assists campaign for Sassuolo in 2016-2017, his nine assists for Paulo Fonseca during the 2019-2020 season, and his seven goals and six assists last year.
The stars also seems to be falling in line for the Italian forward who was among the goal scorers for the Azzurri in the UEFA Nations League match against Spain, working his magic for the national team after recently renewing his contract with the Capitale club.
Meanwhile…
Roma coach Jose Mourinho showed off the drone he uses to analyse the movements and the formation during training sessions ahead of the big clash against Juventus on Sunday.
Mourinho on his Instagram account picked up a camera drone and helped disassemble it so it can fit back into its box seemingly after a training session.
The Portuguese took to social media to post the video with the caption: ‘It’s football, it’s training, it’s work… It’s not us having fun @officialasroma.’
Jose, since replacing Paulo Fonseca in the summer has implemented a lot of changes one of which is the use of drones during training sessions.
As the coach prepares, Mourinho will also be hopeful that his medicals help him have Nicolo Zaniolo ready for the big fight against Juventus as the Giallorossi sit fourth on the table.
