Pique to stay at Barcelona
Diario AS reports that newly appointed Barcelona manager, Ronald Koeman would like to keep Gerard Pique at the club for the 2020/21 season.

The outlet believes that Koeman has had a discussion with the Barcelona legend and his role at the club for next season has been clarified.
Pique had offered to leave the club after the team’s devastating 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League a couple of weeks ago, claiming that a lot needed to be changed at the club and he would be the first to offer to leave the club if it meant that things were going to change.
Fulham had reportedly tried to take advantage of the situation by showing interest in the 33-year old Spaniard but it seems that he would not be leaving the Camp Nou this summer after the discussion with Koeman.
The futures of other Barcelona stars are still not clarified as Koeman is yet to hold talks with Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez – all players that were not on club president, Josep Bartomeu’s list of untouchables at the club. The coach is expected to speak with the players in the next few days with the hope of deciding everyone’s future by the end of the month.
