The January transfer window is not yet officially open, but the rumor mills are already spinning and for English Premier League side, Liverpool, they could be set for one of the biggest coup of the transfer market.
More Details
The future of AC Milan forward, Rafael Leao is practically in the air as the player enters the final 18 months of his contract with the Rossoneri and no hopes of a renewal in sight.

Talks are ongoing over an extension, but as of yet, nothing has been agreed and interested clubs have started to circle around the player, waiting to pounce when the opportunity arises.
Leao was part of the Portuguese team that went to the World Cup and despite not starting for the team, always managed to get on the score sheet whenever he comes on, except against Morocco in the Quarter-final where they were knocked out.
With the World Cup in Qatar over and the rigours of club football about to return post-Christmas, players are still keeping themselves in shape. Leão was spotted working out in a gym wearing a Salah shirt, even if it’s not a Liverpool one.
Leao has been linked with a move to Liverpool as a replacement for the departed Sadio Mane and the recent injury suffered by Luis Diaz may push the Reds to try and speed up a transfer, but they don’t want to pay the €150 million being quoted by the Milanese club.
Hence, they may have to play the waiting game and hope the two parties don’t reach an agreement, before making their move in the summer when the Italian club will have no choice but to sell him rather than lose him for free a year later.
But for the player, he would rather like to continue in Italy, but his salary demands and other conditions attached could be the major stumbling block, especially his demands that the Rossoneri pay the money he owes his former clubs, Sporting CP and Lille. With time almost running out, Milan will reportedly present a new and improved offer to the player in the new year.
