Paris Saint-Germain won the 2023 Trophée des Champions, at the Parc des Princes, but it came at a cost. Slovakian defender, Milan Škriniar suffered an ankle injury and will be out long-term. L’Equipe reports Škriniar has been sidelined for the entirety of the Champions League Round of 16 matches against Real Sociedad.
Additionally, the French media outlet reports that the player is confirmed to be unavailable for several weeks. Further tests will be conducted to ascertain the precise duration of his absence.

There is a possibility that he may require ankle surgery, which could mean that Škriniar’s season could be over or, at the very least, months instead of weeks, and there’s a chance he may require surgery on his ankle. PSG did bring Lucas Beraldo, who made his debut in the win over Toulouse.
However, if Škriniar is gone for months, the Ligue 1 side will need to find another center-back to help replace the former Inter Milan star and that player could be Dragusin. The former Juventus player has been in excellent form with Genoa and reports have linked him with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
While his agent recently claimed that Dragusin will like to finish the season with Genoa, he also confirmed that a move could be possible should Genoa try to sell the player.
With a fee of about €30m being quoted, it is almost certain that a move might happen this January with reports that Spurs is ready to pay that fee. The likes of Manchester United, Napoli and Roma are also interested. For PSG, they should have no problem paying the quoted fee.

According to a report from Italy, Atalanta have told Manchester United, Real Madrid and any other interested parties they must pay at least €60m to sign Italian defender, Giorgio Scalvini.

The central defender has long been linked with the likes of Juventus, Inter and Milan, but it was always known his rapid improvement would make the price-tag perhaps beyond their means. A January exit remains extremely unlikely, but Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà maintains that Atalanta would be prepared to listen for an extremely high offer.
The cost of the operation would be an absolute minimum of €60m to sell Scalvini, a product of the prolific Atalanta youth academy. He only turned 20 last month and his contract with the Bergamo club runs all the way to June 2028.
Manchester United already know all too well that Atalanta directors drive a hard bargain, as they held out until the asking price was met last summer for Rasmus Hojlund, eventually selling for €74m plus a further €9.6m in add-ons.
